TNCC television commercial

Well, I have my first race in almost 12 months under my belt and it feels good. Now I’m looking forward to heading overseas in a couple of weeks to get stuck into some hard racing on the ITU tour.

Since returning from Seoul I have been very focused on my training to improve the stamina in my legs so I can bring my race home on the run, but I have managed to squeeze in some fun. Last week I filmed a television commercial for my sponsor The Natural Confectionary Company. We spent a gorgeous day on the beach in Currumbin on the Gold Coast -swimming, cycling, running (see picture) and having a good time.

Filming in the water was brilliant; a scuba diving man sat on the bottom of the ocean pointing an underwater camera up at me swimming past. The sun was shining overhead and the shot just looks amazing. I am really excited to see the finished commercial and hope you guys like it.

Three-time world champion Emma Snowsill and countryman Courtney Atkinson made successful returns as Australia secured three medals at triathlon's World Championship Series event in Korea on Saturday.
Atkinson, who missed the series opener in Sydney last month due to a virus, missed out on gold in the men's race by just one second.
Snowsill made an equally impressive return to the international circuit after an 11-month layoff, placing sixth in the women's race, just 10 seconds behind Swiss winner Daniela Ryf........
Snowsill, the Beijing Olympic champion, was just pleased to be competing again after missing the end of last year's world championship series with a hip injury and then missing her first two scheduled races in 2010 because of a virus.

BRW Triathlon

Went to Melbourne on the weekend to watch the BRW Triathlon- huge race, without a doubt the most competitors I have ever seen in one race.

It was a lot of fun, I tired to inspire and pump up the Cadbury / Natural Confectionary Team but not sure if I was any help!

Felt sorry for people jumping in the water- it was freezing, I definitely happy to be sipping a mug of tea on dry land.

Anyway, welcome to my site!
